Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission(JSSC) has released 3019 vacancies for the post of Police Sub Inspector.

Total number of vacancy: 3019
Sub Inspector Police in district/unit- 2483
Sub Inspector Police in special branch- 488
Surveying sub inspector in district unit- 48

Date of Computer Based Primary Test: last week of August to 2nd week of September
Date of Mains Exam: First week of November

Educational Qualification: Candidate should possess a graduate degree from a recognised university.

Pay Scale: PB(II)- Rs.9300-34800 with Rs.4200 (6th Pay Grade)

Age Limit:

General: Minimum- 21 years, Maximum- 26 years
OBC: Minimum- 21 years, Maximum- 28 years
SC/ST: Minimum- 21 years, Maximum- 30 years

Application Fee:
Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 460/-
Fee Charges for SC/ST candidates who belongs to Jharkhand is Rs.115

Prelims Exam
